WWW Wednesday is a book meme run by Taking on a World of Words.
Each week we’re asked three questions –
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Infinite Jest, as always. I’m right near the middle, and it’s getting hard not to just read ahead. Must follow the scheduled plan!
I’ve made it through much less of The Ladies of Grace Adieu than I had expected too, but that should be done by next week I’d think. The good thing about short story collections is that, well, the stories are short. The bad things is that they are only loosely connected so the impetus to binge read isn’t always there. There is a story coming up set in Wall from Neil Gaiman’s Stardust though, and I’m super excited to get to that one.
I’ve also just started Persuasion, which I should be zooming through since my midterms just ended and I have a pretty open week for reading.
What did you recently finish reading?
I zoomed through Blankets, which was wonderful and which I recommend. It satisfies my “Home State” option for Read About Where, so that’s a double plus.
Also, after what feels like 50 years, In the Garden of Beasts finally gets to move over to my “Already Read” shelf, and a review will be popping up for that shortly. I’m still organizing my thoughts on that one.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Some combination of Fragile Things, Nimona, and The Magicians. I’m in a magic mood ya’ll.
So what are you reading this week? Has your TBR overwhelmed your computer desk to the point where usability has been abandoned to the wind?
Haven’t read any of your books listed. Heard about Nimona though..
Here’s my (first) WWW Wednesday post:

These all look really interesting. I haven’t heard of most of them, so I definitely plan to look them up and maybe will be able to add some to my TBR. 🙂

I read The Magicians. I thought it was pretty good. I never went on to read the rest of the series, though. I like the TV show more than the book. 🙂 Happy reading!

Yeah I hear they are quite different, so we’ll see. I only have the first book- didn’t want to commit to the full purchase yet!

Oh, I love Persuasion! You really can’t go wrong with Jane Austen. I hope to get to read The Magicians at some point this Spring. Hope you’re enjoying all your books!

I’ve read everything but Persuasion and Northanger Abbey. It’s time to finish the collection haha.

I’m incapable of following a reading schedule so well done for sticking to it.

Persuasion is my 2nd favourite Austen (after P&P). I think it’s under-rated, but it seems to be one that people either love or hate. I hope you enjoy it!

I hope you liked ‘In the Garden of Beasts.’ I enjoy Larson but heard this one wasn’t his strongest. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

Yeah, you heard right on that. I loved “Devil” but this was kinda lackluster.

I need to get myself a copy of Nimona. Seems like a good place to start with graphic novels. Happy reading! https://ireadboooks.wordpress.com/2016/03/16/www-wednesday-march-16-2016/

I’m always a little bit jealous when I see these post from readers who juggle multiple books – I simply can’t do it! Great selection of books!
