The Friday 56 is a meme hosted by Freda’s Voice and a chance for me to not only share what I’m reading but to be somewhat creative about it too.

It feels like I’ve been reading The Passage forever now- and that’s not a bad thing! The book is so unique and genre-shifting… but I’ll save my comments for the eventual review. Anyway, flipping all the way back to page 56 meant shuffling through the 650 pages that I’ve read since that point. What a different novel it was then! Anyway, this quote seemed pretty apt as a set up for the rest of the epic.
