Last year I went 9 for 25 on the Golden Globes, but does anyone really ever do great? The Oscars are somewhat predictable, and you can derive your ballot based on guild wins and critics awards and come out with more right than wrong. Last year was an anomaly where I didn’t crack 20 for the first time in half a decade, but I bombed on three of the shorts.

Anyway, the Golden Globes? These are awards chosen by a hodge-podge of randos and are guranteed to provide some upsets, head scratchers, and truely bizarre outcomes. I suppose beating my score from last year would be a good goal at the very least.
